Booking Conditions
Please take the time to read and understand the conditions of booking detailed below
prior to booking a trip with Jennifer Pastiloff Yoga. A signed copy of this contract
must be returned to Jennifer along with your deposit (see bottom) which
acknowledges that you have read and accepted all terms. If you are paying
your deposit on PayPal please print, sign & fax the contract to
661 825-8104  Barbara Potter No cover letter required.

1. Our Contract
All bookings are made with Jennifer Pastiloff Yoga (us/we) and by booking a trip with us you
are deemed to have agreed to these Booking Conditions (which constitutes the entire
agreement between you and us). Your booking will be accepted by us on this basis.
The services to be provided are those referred to on our website in relation to a
Yoga Retreat in Tuscany at Ebbio. This contract is between us/we and not Franz
the owner of Ebbio or Ebbio.

2. Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required for your booking to be confirmed. If your
booking is made after May 15th, 2013 then the full amount is payable at the
time of booking which includes your non-refundable deposit.

3. Final Payment
Payment of the balance of the trip is due by May 15th, 2013. If the balance is not paid on
or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.

4. Passport and Visa
You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and
certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be
valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that
you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip. We are
not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct
passport, visa or other travel documentation.

5. Your Details
For us to confirm your travel arrangements you must provide all requested details with
the balance of the trip price. Necessary details include full name as per your passport, date
of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry date, emergency contact
numbers and any pre-existing medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to
complete your travel arrangements. Your booking cannot be confirmed without provision
of these details.

6. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is recommended for all travelers heading to Italy and, if purchased, should be taken
out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance should provide cover against personal accident,
death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with all recommended minimum coverage of
$200,000 USD. We also strongly recommend it cover cancellation, curtailment, and
all other expenses that might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay
or inconvenience.

We shall have no liability for loss, theft of or damage to baggage or personal effects. Personal
belongings lost or stolen while unattended by the client in public lounges or other public areas,
whether on board a vessel, train, bus, or other mode of transportation, publicly owned or
operated by affiliated tour operators or elsewhere, are not reimbursable. Losses due to ordinary
wear and tear, and other acts of God are not reimbursable. We cannot accept responsibility for
and in no event shall be liable for loss or damage of valuables or other articles left in or on
facilities used by us such as hotels, home stays, vessels, expedition vehicles,
or any other mode of transportation.

7. Inclusions
  • 7 Nights 8 Days at Ebbio Main Farmhouse Shared Occupancy double,triple
or quadruple room (If you have a problem with snoring which will prevent you from sharing
a room please let us know right away) The main gathering/dining room on the 2nd floor
will have a quiet time from 10 pm to 6 am for the consideration for people who will be sleeping.
You may use that room but please be mindful of the people sleeping on that floor during those hours.

  • Two yoga classes/or Manifestation Yoga Workshops/Meditation per day on most
full days there except for arrival day, departure day and full day
excursion to the beach or other full day excursion days.

  • Pick up at Siena Train Station at 1 p.m. or 4 p.m. June 29th, 2013
(If you miss those pick-up times you can take a cab to Ebbio on
your own or share with 3 others for around 30 euro total.

  • Drop off at Siena Train Station on departure day

  • Vegetarian Meals each day with wine at lunch/dinner at Ebbio only.
Three meals per day except for arrival day which will be dinner only and
departure day which will be breakfast only. There will be fresh fruit
available all day at retreat. Meals will be inside or outside depending
on weather. Lunch will not be provided on the full day in Sienna and any
time you travel on your own while sightseeing.

  • One Tuscan Vegetarian Cooking Class

  • One 1/2 day trip after lunch at Ebbio to a local town/winery/winetasting in Chianti.

  • One day-trip to beach on the Mediterranean with picnic lunch supplied by Ebbio
with a visit to the Hot Springs on the way back.

  • There will also be a full day trip transportation included to the wonderful town of
Siena on  Wednesday where they have their open air market-day, food,
discounted beautiful Italian clothing, etc. Vendors line the streets.
So much to see and do in Siena.

  • Transportation to and from the marvelous town of Siena on Wednesday is provided.
Your lunch while there will be self-catered and not provided by Ebbio. Once you are
there you are on your own to shop, explore the cobblestone streets and have fun until we
meet to be taken back to Ebbio. You will have dinner upon returning to Ebbio. Be sure to
see the magnificent Duomo di Siena while you are exploring the town.

  • A half-day trip to the town of San Gimignano.

  • An optional full day-trip to the beautiful town of Florence by train. Transportation "to"
the station and the round trip train fare is included. Taxi's are available upon your return to the
Siena Train Station back to Ebbio. Four people can split the fare per taxi. Your meals and any
sites you visit (museums, etc) in Florence will also be at your own expense. There are plenty
of sites at no cost in this beautiful city.  It is going to be magical. We will bring journals
to Florence and have an assignment or two with writing but the Florence day, no yoga class.
It's too long of a day and we have to leave early. Of course you can stay back and skip but
there will be no "Asana" that day. If you do stay back you can relax, hike, bike-ride, use
the yoga studio, read; and, of course, meals will be available to you at Ebbio .

8. Exclusions
The land price of your trip does not include:
  • International or internal flights
  • Excess baggage charges
  • Visa and other passport fees
  • Travel insurance
  • Alcoholic beverages-except wine with lunch and dinner at Ebbio
  • Optional activities you choose to do on your own including transportation to and
from them that are not included on this trip (see above inclusions #7) and sightseeing
and all personal expenses including meal cost are your own expense and not
reimbursed by us/we.
  • Taxi back to Ebbio from the Siena Train Station upon return from Florence for
the optional day trip. (Four people can split the cost per taxi.)

9. Cancellation by Traveler
All monies received, above the non-refundable deposit, will be refunded if the cancellation is
made 60 or more days prior to scheduled arrival date. If the client cancels less than 60 days in
advance of the arrival day, or if the client does not show up, or leaves early for any reason
no credit or refund is available.

Different fees may apply to airline tickets depending on the carrier being used. You are
strongly advised to take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking which will cover
your cancellation penalties in some situations. If you leave a trip for any reason after it has
commenced we are not obliged to make any refunds for unused services. Again,
cancellation insurance may reimburse you for early departure under certain
circumstances.

10. Flexibility
The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities contemplated,
but it is understood that the itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to
alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.

Furthermore, all yoga is done at the sole discretion of each individual yoga instructor and
follows their individual style. Certain circumstances may not allow for all yoga sessions as
outlined in the Itinerary. All travelers should familiarize themselves with their
instructor’s style and background.

11. Optional Activities
Optional activities not included in the trip price do not form part of the trip or this contract.
You accept that any assistance given by your tour or yoga leader or local representative in
arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them.

15. Photos and Marketing
You consent to us using images of you taken during the trip for advertising and promotional purposes.
You grant us perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such
images for publicity and promotional purposes. Your name will not be used unless
you send us a comment that you wish posted on the site.

16. Please remember that this is a rustic 800 year-old working farm and the sounds
of animals will and can be heard. There is no A/C.

17. You will have free time to travel and explore on your own.

18. Applicable Law
The laws of California, USA govern these Booking Conditions and any disputes in connection
with a trip or these Booking Conditions must be initiated in the courts of California, USA.

IMPORTANT: Do not book your return flight for the same day the retreat ends. You will not be
able to get to Rome or Florence or Pisa to make the flights. Make plans to stay over at least
one night where your flight is departing from in order to be there the next morning. The
flights leave early and Ebbio is a minimum of 3 hours from Rome & 1.5 hours from Florence
and 2 hours from Pisa. This would be a good time to arrange sightseeing  in Rome or
Florence or Pisa. The retreat usually ends around 10:00/11:00 a.m. Departure day
when you will be taken to the Train Station in Siena.
