"After your first workshop in Philly I made a vision board. I have many things on it. The one thing I put on it was the pamphlet of your Tuscany retreat. And guess what? It came true! I just wanted to thank you for the amazing trip to Italy!" Lynn |

Jen, Your retreat in Italy changed my life. I find it very hard to express myself in writing, but needed to share how magical of an experience this retreat was for me. For someone who has a hard time taking risks and letting go in life enough to say "YES!", what a great gift this retreat was for me. These are the experiences that live in me now, for which I shall be forever changed for the better: Sitting in solitude and quiet on the roof of an 800 year old Tuscan farm house with a good book, some tea, and a piece of fresh fruit, while watching the sun rise...wow. What an unbelievable opportunity to sit in reflection and utter gratitude. Shutting my phone off. I mean literally going nowhere near e-mail, texts, or Facebook for a full week, I cannot tell you how unbelievably healing this was. Realizing how strange that I have to travel all the way to Italy to give myself permission to do this. Being so grateful for that realization. Singing "Journey" at the top my lungs while flowing through a Vinyasa only to explode into several spontaneous dance parties in the middle of class. Jumping into a pool fully clothed, sweaty from yoga and multitudes of said dance parties, under the beautiful Tuscan sun. Gorging myself on homemade pastas, sauces, pesto, soup, jam, yogurt, olive oil, salads and fresh herbs literally JUST picked from the garden. Twirling and dancing with abandon on the ancient cobblestone street of a Twelfth Century Italian castle to folk music at an authentic medieval festival complete with mulled wine, mead, royal ceremonies, stilt walkers, knights, ancient currency, ladies, jesters and fools. Drinking wine, sharing meals, and forming bonds with some of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life. Exploring picturesque towns, eating a piece of fresh pizza followed by a massive cup of the best Gelato you will ever taste. Gaining a full head of sand from doing multiple headstands by the ocean. Eating a sandwich bigger than my face stuffed full of fresh cheese, roasted peppers, freshly picked basil, hand pressed olive oil, and the reddest, ripest, sweetest tomatoes that have ever and will ever be ingested. Being slathered in squishy sulfur scented healing black clay at the most beautiful naturally occurring hot springs. Smelling like said sulfur clay for days. Somehow managing to communicate perfectly with complete strangers in the worst Italian ever, by using a handful of words and gestures. Spending way too much Euro at the most amazing market in Siena, walking away with some of the most gorgeous clothes, jewelry, and shoes. Speaking my goals without shame, owning who I am and what I want. Writing, for real, for the first time in four years. Resting in a place of utter gratitude and letting go of needing to look or be a certain way. Not wearing any makeup and feeling so comfortable with my "naked" face. At 26, enjoying my very first massage. EVER. To eat, eat, eat then eat, eat, eat, some more and after that eat, eat, eat and eat. Thank you, Jen, for giving me all of this. Thank you, Italy, for just existing, really. BEST. RETREAT. EVER. I love you and am so grateful you have come into my life. Love, Jessie |
Hi Jen, "I am sitting in the plane heading back to LAX, just reflecting on all that I inhaled in a week at Ebbio. What did I gain from it other than the obvious beauty and the fabulous food of Tuscany? The scenery was just as I saw in the "Under the Tuscan Sun" movie. Stepping away from it now I see the big picture. I realized that yoga classes were just a small part of what I got from this retreat. I found the perfect metaphor for my experience at Ebbio. It was the "wine tasting" at it's best. Just like the bottles of wine we drank, everyone came from different regions. Each bottle had a story to tell about its blend and the aging process, giving us our own unique flavor. What I liked most about our week in Ebbio was the tasting of our new found friends, getting to know what is inside the "bottle". Some I liked instantly, others I let it breath a bit until it mellowed. As I swished the wine in my mouth, I can taste the fruitiness or the spices as the flavors became more defined. The common thread for most of us was that we had the courage to go on an adventure alone, trusting on our own instinct. The courage displayed by those who shared their trials in their lives and how they have moved through it,humbled me to a greater appreciation for my own life.I have no complaints! By the end of the week, each bottle I tasted began to taste creamier, sweeter, fruitier and even spicier. I loved them all for it's individuality. It was truly an amazing week and a delicious experience! Thank you for your manifestation of Ebbio yoga retreat. It will forever stay with me as the 'Tuscan Sun' in my heart." Love, Akiko |
Jen "I've been meaning to do this and I finally got around to it. Today I listened to Brene Brown's TED talk on vulnerability, and it stopped me in my tracks. I listened to it twice. Rules to live by! To be deeply vulnerable... to let yourself be seen, to love with your whole heart, to practice gratitude and joy, to listen and be kind, and to believe that you're enough. Plus do yoga, and have daily dance parties... of course! THANK YOU for recommending that we listen to this in Italy." Love you! Regan |

"Going to Italy on a Manifestation Retreat with Jennifer Pastiloff was by far one of the best experiences of my life. Not only are you surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan country side, but also surrounded by the amazing people Jen attracts. From the daily dance parties, to amazing food, and great laughs with new friends over vino, the Manifestation Retreat with Jen was truly a life changing experience that I will never forget!"- Brooke |
"I am in awe and wonder of what transpired during that magical week at Ebbio. Visions of my first encounter, getting out of the van and being greeted by you and the rest of the gang...stepping into a magical place of beauty, love, and peace...no one judging...everyone just being, just being alive, willing and wanting just friendship and love. From that day forward, I only remember amazing food, vino and acceptance. Yoga studio..great music, poetic dances, provoking thoughts...geese and a white horse walking by... Outings, bus stops, beach, lunches, sitting under grape awnings, driving with music blaring...all inspiring...all intoxicating. I thank you for an amazing time that validated who I am...I thank you for your sincerity and inspiration." Much aloha always, Diane |

"Jen is my Wayne Dyer, Jen is my Oprah… and if you know her, you know how bold of a statement that is. She attracts the most interesting and fabulous humans into her inner circle. There are no bad seeds that show up to these retreats. It is all just humans trying to grow and feel good, but most of all...they are there to make sh*t happen. Oh, And they do! " Stefanie Seifer |
The following is a gorgeous post by my dear friend Sara Lieberman author of the upcoming "The Handbags Tale". I met Sara last year when I taught my Manifestation workshop in NYC and she joined me on my Italy retreat this past July. This post is a testament as to what goes down at one of my retreats. I could not have written it better myself! It’s such an honor that she wrote this. Thank you Sara. Thank you. See you all in Italy!
